Most WiFi problems aren’t about the broadband speed. They’re about one router in the hallway trying to reach the whole house through thick walls, extensions and garden offices. The fix is usually a few well-placed access points or a mesh system, ideally connected back to the router with a cable so each one gets the full speed. I’ll look at where the signal drops off and suggest a setup that suits your home.

For the best and most reliable connection, nothing beats a cable. I can run data cabling to the rooms that need it, such as a home office, a games room or behind the TV, and fit neat network points in the wall. For businesses, I can wire desks, printers and access points back to a tidy cabinet, so the network is easy to manage and expand later.

I also mount TVs and run the cables inside the wall where possible, so there are no wires hanging down. HDMI, network and speaker cables can all be run together, with a power socket behind the TV fitted safely and certified. Your broadband provider’s router stays as it is; I make sure the signal reaches everywhere you need it.
