Commercial electrician in Kent.
Electrical work for shops, offices, cafés and other business premises, planned around your opening hours so you can keep trading.
Work planned around your business.
Every business is different, so I start by understanding how you use the space. A shop might need new lighting and power for displays, an office more sockets and data points, and a café extra circuits for kitchen equipment. Whether it’s a full fit-out or a few changes to an existing unit, you’ll get an itemised written quote that sets out exactly what’s included.
Downtime costs money, so I’ll plan the work to keep disruption low. Where it helps, noisy jobs or power shutdowns can be done early, late or at weekends, and the work can be split into stages so parts of the premises stay open. I keep the site tidy as I go and leave it clean at the end of each day, ready for staff and customers.
Common jobs include replacing old distribution boards, upgrading tired fluorescent fittings to efficient LED lighting, adding power and data points, and fault finding when something stops working. All work is tested to BS 7671, the IET Wiring Regulations, and you’ll get the right certificate by email. I can also carry out an EICR on your premises, which landlords and insurers often ask for.
Three simple steps.
- 1
Visit and quote
I look at the premises and talk through how you use them, then email an itemised quote and a suggested plan for the work.
- 2
Work planned around you
We agree times that suit your business, including early, late or weekend work where it helps.
- 3
Test and certify
Everything is tested and you get the right certificate by email, with a quick walk-through of what’s been done.
I also handle EICRs, maintenance, WiFi & Data and CCTV. See all services
