Lighting installation in Kent.
Good lighting changes how a room feels and how you use it. From LED downlights to garden and security lights, I plan it properly and fit it neatly.
Lighting that suits the room.
Indoors, LED downlights are a popular way to brighten kitchens and hallways while using far less energy than old halogen spots. I’ll help with spacing and colour temperature so the room feels warm rather than clinical. Pendant and feature lights over a dining table or stairwell, under-cupboard strips in the kitchen and dimmer switches in living rooms and bedrooms all make a real difference. If you’re using dimmers with LED lamps, I’ll make sure the two are compatible to avoid flicker.
Bathrooms are divided into zones around the bath and shower, and each zone needs fittings with the right IP rating to keep water out. I’ll explain which lights can go where, including extractor fans and shaver points, so your new bathroom is safe as well as good looking. The same care goes into wet rooms, en-suites and downstairs cloakrooms.
Outside, garden lighting, path lights and wall lights make the space usable after dark, and security lights with PIR sensors help keep driveways and side passages safe. Outdoor cables are run in suitable cable or ducting and protected by an RCD, with weather-rated fittings that stand up to the Kent winter. Every job is tested and certified when it’s done.
Three simple steps.
- 1
Talk it through
We discuss how you use the space, the look you’re after and where switches should go. Then I email an itemised quote.
- 2
Neat installation
Fittings go in with cables routed carefully, dust sheets down and the room cleaned up before I leave.
- 3
Test and hand over
I test everything, show you any dimmers or sensors, and email the right certificate for the work.
I also handle EICRs, maintenance, commercial work and WiFi & Data. See all services
